What does the application of methods look like in practice?

 

As part of a large project for a company engaged in the production of nonwoven textiles, we applied the Six Sigma tool to streamline work and standardize individual processes. When applying it, it is important to identify which work tools and aids are needed for given activities and which are not, so that we can eliminate them from the workspace, thereby ensuring a cleaner and more clearly organized workplace. 

 

The implementation of this tool began with employee training. Employees had not encountered a similar method before, so they initially felt it was just extra work. At present, following its introduction and successful operation, employees admit that the new procedures benefit the entire company.
